Danno Scordino is a creative music composer for cinematography and other orchestral instrumentals. Currently nearing completion on a variety of commissions from film scores to background music for documentaries and website development, Danno is now seeking further projects in such fields.
Born in the 80s, he had a prodigious beginning in the music industry when at just 10 years of age he published his first album with Attic Music Publishing. He continued to work on a number of further albums and in 1999, still in his teens, he was invited to compose for the Portobello Film Festival. One year later he followed this up with a record release distributed by Epic Music entitled ‘2 Cold’ with MC Danger 18K and Richie Dollars.
In 2002 Danno was commissioned to remix ‘FC Allstars – Footballs Is Life’, which later garnered extra prestige by becoming the Official David Beckham Soccer Game Anthem for the Xbox. Later on in the same year the DJ and radio/television presenter Tim Westwood invited him with London’s new delegates to be on his ‘Trust the DJ 2002’ album, prior to him then taking on a Masters in Audio Technology to further support his talents with a sound foundation.
Based in London, other previous collaborations have been with keyboard player and record producer Andy Whitmore, singer and songwriter Jay Sean and hip hop recording artist Dizzy Rascal.
He is now using his passion for intricate melodies and innovative sounds to write music for various projects under Danno Scordino Productions – may your commission be his next composition.
A painter paints pictures on canvas. But musicians paint their pictures on silence.
